Molecule-rich menstrual plasma (MRMP) therapy
Aperina’s novel skincare treatment involves the collection and processing of menstrual blood into MRMP, blood plasma that contains powerful restorative biomolecules like platelets, menstrual stem cell exosomes, repair proteins, and more. These molecules increase elastin, collagen, and blood vessel growth to improve the appearance of skin texture, wrinkles, acne scars, and even hair loss.
All of this is made possible with Aperina’s menstrual cup system to safely collect, preserve, and process MRMP for at-home use.
Our inspiration - PRP therapy
We were inspired by platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, one of the most popular treatments for skin rejuvenation. But at ~$1,000 per session, repeated blood draws, and clinic-only access, most people can’t afford or tolerate it.
Aperina is changing that.

The total cost of 6 MRMP treatments is $710, making the average price of 1 treatment only $120.
Thus MRMP therapy is ~85% cheaper than PRP.

PRP relies on a venous blood draw from the arm, while MRMP collects blood using a menstrual cup.

MRMP therapy is designed to be done entirely at home, compared to PRP which is typically performed in a clinic and requires a medical professional.

PRP works because of growth factors in blood plasma, MRMP contains all the same growth factors as PRP plus unique reproductive molecules only found in menstrual blood.
